Hiertoe heeft de Nederlandse Vereniging voor Klinische Farmacologie &amp; Biofarmacie een erkenning afgegeven. Met de opleiding kan verder gespecialiseerd worden in de werking van geneesmiddelen bij specifieke, veelal complexe pati\u00ebntgroepen. Ziekenhuisapotheker-klinisch farmacoloog en opleider Luc Derijks is enthousiast: \u201cDit draagt bij aan ons wetenschappelijk onderzoek en maakt tevens de opleiding tot ziekenhuisapotheker toekomstbestendig. Er is in Nederland slechts een beperkt aantal\u00a0erkende opleidingsinstituten op dit gebied, waarvan de meeste bovendien academisch.
