Het geeft op basis hiervan een persoonlijk doseringsadvies voor pati\u00ebnten met een chronische darmontsteking, die de medicatie thiopurines gebruiken. \u201cAanleiding voor het cre\u00ebren van de app was het grote aantal vragen van collega-ziekenhuisapothekers en mdl-artsen\u201d, zegt Derijks. \u201cZij gaven aan moeite te hebben met het interpreteren van de gemeten concentraties van afbraakproducten (metabolieten) en de vertaling hiervan naar een praktisch doseringsadvies.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>ThioCalc is gratis te downloaden in de app-stores van Apple en Android.
