De family centered care neonatale intensive care unit (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mmc.nl\/kindergeneeskunde\/polikliniek-opname\/nicu\/\">NICU<\/a>) van M\u00e1xima MC is \u00e9\u00e9n van de meest innovatieve NICU\u2019s van Nederland. We lopen voorop in non-invasieve diagnostiek van aandoeningen en onderzoek naar automatische fysiologische signalen bij vroeggeborenen.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Door het nauwgezet monitoring van het hartritme van de pasgeborenen, kan veel sneller gezien worden of er een complicatie optreedt. Om dit goed te kunnen doen, heeft MPSC (Medical Predictive Science Corporation) een Heart Rate Observation Systeem (HeRO) ontwikkeld. Daarnaast kan het systeem van waarde zijn in vroeg ontslag. Eerder ontslag van de pati\u00ebnt van onze NICU naar huis of eigen regio is van belang voor deze pati\u00ebnt en zijn\/haar gezinssysteem.
