Hiermee wordt onderschreven dat er sprake is van excellente pati\u00ebntenzorg, voldoende opleidingsmogelijkheden en regelmatig onderzoek door de betrokken specialisten. De erkenning is vastgelegd in het STZ topklinisch zorgregister.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>M\u00e1xima MC is \u00e9\u00e9n van de leidende klompvoetcentra in Nederland. Dit betekent dat kinderen met klompvoetjes uit het hele land hier worden geholpen. Het team bestaat uit kinderorthopedisch chirurgen, gipsmeesters en gespecialiseerd verpleegkundigen. Daarnaast is MMC een opleidingsplek voor nieuwe kinderorthopedisch chirurgen. De <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mmc.nl\/kinderorthopedie\/aandoeningen-en-behandelingen\/klompvoeten\/\">behandeling van een klompvoetje<\/a> start vlak na de geboorte. Dit gebeurt volgens de methode van Ponseti.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>STZ topklinisch zorgregister<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>De erkenning is een initiatief van de vereniging Samenwerkende Topklinische Opleidingsziekenhuizen (STZ). Het <a href=\"https:\/\/online.stz.nl\/30160\/topklinisch-zorgregister\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">zorgregister<\/a> van deze vereniging biedt een overzicht van alle topklinisch beoordeelde zorgfuncties bij de topklinische ziekenhuizen en is bedoeld voor zowel pati\u00ebnten als huisartsen en artsen van doorverwijzende ziekenhuizen. De zorgfuncties in het register zijn beoordeeld door een toetsingscommissie, bestaande uit medische experts en artsen- en pati\u00ebntenverenigingen. Het gaat om zorg voor bovengemiddeld complexe aandoeningen.
