Door een knieverdraaiing of en diepe hurkbeweging kan de meniscus scheuren.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>De meniscus kan op verschillende manieren scheuren: een dwarse scheur, flapscheur, vissenbekscheur of in zijn geheel losscheuren en omklappen. Deze scheuren kunnen plaatsvinden in goed of minder goed doorbloed meniscusweefsel.
