DISH is een reumatische aandoening waarbij teveel bot wordt aangemaakt, met name rond de wervelkolom. Dit gebeurt op plaatsen waar pezen of banden aan het bot hechten. Gevolg is dat er pijn en stijfheid in de gewrichten ontstaat.<\/strong><\/p>\n

DISH staat voor ‘diffuse idiopathische skeletale hyperostose\u2019 en wordt ook wel de ziekte van Forestier genoemd.
