Dutch insurance holders
It is important to note that in the Netherlands you must first obtain a referral from your Primary Care Physician or the “Huisartsenpost” before receiving an appointment to ensure coverage by your insurance provider. You may also be referred by your midwife, dentist or another specialist within MMC. He will give you a form with a reference number that you will submit when you come for your appointment. We will not deny you service for not having a referral however costs maybe deferred to you by your insurance company pending payment arrangements.
