Orthopaedic Center
The Orthopaedic Center Máxima (OCM) is a highly specialised center for orthopaedics, sports medicine and trauma. OCM is a tertiary referral center for pediatric orthopaedics, complex knee injuries, olympic athletes and professional sports teams. We are 1 of the 12 certified Topsport Centers in The Netherlands (TMS certified) and work in close association with our sports medicine department.
The twelve OCM board-certified orthopaedic surgeons are associated in the Coöperatie Orthopedie Groot Eindhoven (Orthopaedic Association Eindhoven Greater Area), with outpatient and surgical facilities in Máxima Medical Center Eindhoven and Veldhoven.
OCM covers all areas of bone and joint disorders with several speciality centers:

- sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery
- joint replacement
- foot & ankle
- trauma & fracture
Teaching center
OCM is an appointed teaching center for orthopaedic residency and fellowship programs by the Dutch Orthopaedic Association. Scientific research is performed by in association with (inter)national orthopaedic and arthosocopy societies, Maastricht University, Erasmus University Rotterdam, TU/e, Fontys Hogescholen and University of Amsterdam.
